AuthentiDate is Awarded the "IT Security made in Germany" Seal of Quality

Quality Seal with assistance of the patronage of the German Federal Ministry of the Interior (BMI) and the German Federal Ministry for Business and Technology (BMWi)

Düsseldorf/Luxembourg, June 05, 2012 – AuthentiDate International AG, a member of exceet Group SE and a leading IT security provider, has received the "IT Security made in Germany" seal of quality.

The "IT Security made in Germany" quality seal is presented by the TeleTrusT - the Bundesverband IT-Sicherheit e.V. with assistance of the German Federal Ministry of the Interior (BMI) and the German Federal Ministry for Business and Technology (BMWi) to companies whose products fulfill special quality requirements.

In addition to providing reliable IT security solutions, fulfillment of the requirements of German data privacy is an essential criterion for the award.

AuthentiDate has fulfilled these and all additional requirements for the attaining of the "IT Security made in Germany" seal of quality without any restriction.

The "IT Security made in Germany" seal of quality was established in 2005 at the initiative of the German Federal Ministry of the Interior (BMI) and the German Federal Ministry for Business and Technology (BMWi). With assistance  of these two ministries, the "ITSMIG" association represents the technical and scientific interests of high-quality German IT security business (especially the crypto, PKI, biometry, and communication security sectors of the industry) in politics, business, science, and the public on a national and international level. Both the BMI and the BMWi are members of the advisory board of the "ITSMIG."
