Honda loves signatures in eInvoicing
Great acceptance for AuthentiDate signature solutions and electronic invoice exchange without expensive paper processes
Düsseldorf, Sept. 28, 2010 - With immediate effect Honda Deutschland GmbH benefits from exchanging digital invoices and credit notes with electronic signatures. The new and optimized business process has been enabled by a secure and reliable solution, provided by the signature specialist AuthentiDate.
Almost 100% of the invoices and credit notes in the after-sales-section could be converted to electronic processing without additional hard-copy documents.
With the assistance of new solutions, documents such as spare part- and accessories invoices as well as credit notes can be exchanged with dealers in Germany. On the basis of electronic signatures the new process complies with requirements of the Sales Tax Law and simultaneously reduces the costs for elaborate paper processes. Honda as well as the dealers benefit from the economic eInvoicing with signature. Alongside the economic aspect, the increase in service was a decisive argument for the introduction of the signature solution.

The AuthentiDate signature solution is directly operated at a Honda-Service Unit. The signed invoices are delivered as a PDF-file via email. The signatures are directly imbedded into each PDF-file.
The signature verification report is simultaneously transmitted to the recipients of the invoices. This reduces the effort for the recipient of the invoice and increases the acceptance of electronic invoices particularly with smaller dealers.
Parallel to this, the web service www.signature-check.com is available to the recipients of the invoices free of charge for manual, web based verification of the signatures. The web service allows the verification of signatures anywhere, at any time. The web service eliminates the need of any special client software to be installed.
